Trent S. West began his legal career at a private law firm in Vandalia, Illinois, immediately after graduating from law school in 2011, and has spent the years since building a well-rounded practice rooted in real-world experience on both sides of the courtroom.

Before focusing exclusively on private practice, Trent served as a county prosecutor, giving him a unique perspective that benefits his clients in criminal and municipal matters — whether he’s defending an individual or navigating complex legal proceedings. That dual experience has shaped his approach: practical, thorough, and always client-focused.

In 2016, Trent joined Michael Glenn and practiced alongside him under the name Glenn & West, Attorneys at Law — an opportunity that also brought him back to his hometown of Nokomis, Illinois. When Michael retired in 2018, Trent continued the firm’s legacy of dedicated local service, renaming the practice the Law Offices of Glenn & West, LLC. In 2026, the firm welcomed a new chapter, becoming the Law Offices of West & Ginos, LLC, where Trent serves as Managing Partner.

Trent represents clients across a broad range of practice areas, including personal injury, estate planning and administration (both probate and non-probate), criminal defense, traffic law, and a variety of civil matters.

Outside the office, Trent and his wife Krystal are proud parents of three and are active members of Rotary International, committed to serving their community in Nokomis and supporting causes around the world.
